You signed up for this list a while ago. Maybe through Kickstarter, maybe during one of our pop-ups. Either way, we've been quiet, and you deserve an update.

Ambient Works makes ambient one. It's a portable air quality tracker that monitors what's actually in the air around you: small particles of dust (PM2.5), carbon dioxide (CO2), chemicals (VOCs), nitrogen oxides (NOx), temperature, humidity (and more). Swiss precision sensors, real data, and insights that matter, built for the spaces where you work and live.

Take CO2 when you're working from home: levels in a closed room build up faster than you'd expect. By mid-morning you're not distracted because the work is hard, you're distracted because the air has turned. ambient one shows you that, so you can open a window, step outside for five minutes, and come back actually able to think.

We started on Kickstarter, shipped our first batch to over 400 backers, and spent the last year doing the less visible work: tightening manufacturing, fixing what only real-world use reveals, and figuring out how a small London studio ships hardware globally the right way.
